New English Lexicon The Ham-Bearing Ice-Cream Sandwich
Redditors have a striking way with words. They say things that make little sense to people other than them. One of these manners of speech I will refer to as the “Ham-Bearing Ice-Cream Sandwich”. You may be asking, “Gary, what the fuck could that possibly mean?”. Well what I mean is that Redditors will say something like “You eat your ice cream sandwiches without ham? I’ve never so much as seen an ice cream sandwich without a slice of ham!”. And act like you are out of pocket for saying that making an ice cream sandwich without ham is absolutely standard. At which point you aren't really sure whether or not they are just leading you on. Either way, they aren't worth talking to at that rate.

Streetshitters Destroy Bridge Daily news updates
Pajeets were crewing a cargo ship near Maryland and crashed it into a main support beam on the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which then caused it to collapse shortly after. 6 construction workers are missing (dead) and at least 7 vehicles were sunk to the bottom, which 2 people were rescued from the wreckage. This means that streetshitting pajeet curry eating towelhead retards killed about a dozen people. | Many conspiracy theorists believe that this has something to do with the deep state and/or Joe Biden. Is this just to distract us from Hunter’s laptop? No dumbass. Attribute nothing to malice what can instead be attributed to swarthy incompetence.

The first attempt to replace the AR-15 came before the adoption of the AR-15. The most recent attempt to replace it was last year. Page 2 | The AR-15 is the best rifle. But what is the best cartridge? The United States thought it was 55gr. The Belgians thought it was 62gr. What is it? Page 3 | Carrying ammo has been a problem as long as there has been ammo. So is a chest rig the best way to dot it? And what else should it carry? Page 4

Replacing the AR-15 A Tale as old as Grandpa
People hate the AR-15. They have many problems with it. “The stock can’t fold, the cartridge is too weak, its unreliable in literally every circumstance.” The Army felt the same way. From even before the AR-15 was adopted in 1959 (Yes it was actually December of 1959) they were trying to replace it. The AR-15 was always meant to be a stopgap after the M14 fell apart. The first attempt was Project SALVO. Where a weapon was meant to either be duplex (or triplex) ball, or flechette firing. SALVO fell apart soon after inception and was replaced by SPIW (Pronounced spew), or Special Purpose Individual Weapon. SPIW was much the same where the weapons were equipped with unusual multiple projectile and flechette ammunition, as well as a built in, 3 round repeating 40x46mm grenade launcher. All of the rifles in the trial once again sucked, but one rifle from AAI corporation (You will be hearing this name again) was well developed enough for a second round of testing. It is now 1968 and the XM16E1 is fully type classified as the M16A1. The second round of SPIW testing goes nowhere and the M16A1 officially replaces the M14 as the new main rifle of both the Army and Marine Corps. | 1986. The Army finally adopts the M16A2 and joins with the rest of NATO with the 62gr M855 5.56x45mm NATO round (Epic call forward). And of course they want to replace it. They start the ACR (Advanced Combat Rifle) program. The idea of ACR was to once again use either multi-projectile ammunition or other means of increasing hit probability on a point target. There were four primary entrants. H&K, with the G11 rifle, which fired caseless 4.6mm ammunition in a 3 round burst at 1,800 RPM, the recoil from said burst only hitting the shooter after the 3rd round was fired. Colt, with the aptly named Colt ACR, essentially a flat top M16A2 which fired 5.56mm duplex ball ammo, with the option of switching back to standard ammo. Steyr, who entered essentially a flechette firing AUG, which had 3 flechettes per round. And finally AAI who used single projectile flechettes housed in a 5.56 NATO casing. It was not able to fire standard ammo. The rifle also used an integral silencer as the muzzle blast was otherwise extreme. The trials were a failure as the weapons all worked, but none offered a substantial improvement over the M16. 1994. The M4 Carbine is adopted. And work on replacing it immediately begins. | OICW. Objective Individual Combat Weapon. A low yield airburst grenade launcher at 5.56mm assault rifle mated into one weapon. The weapon weighed 18 pounds when loaded. Canceled not long after program start. This then led to the XM8 rifle and XM25 grenade launcher. If you are familiar with either, then you know neither lasted long. This set of weapons made Tom Clancy games circa 2003 really cool. Various special forces groups in the mid-2000s replaced the M4 with various piston driven weapons, such as the FN SCAR and HK 416. These were in service for some time but all of them eventually returned to M4 derived weapons. In 2011 the Individual Carbine competition started. This led to bids from HK, Robinson Armament, LWRC, Remington and Colt. None were deemed a substantial improvement and the competition was canceled after Phase II. The Marines eventually Jewed their way into replacing the M4 and M16 with the HK 416, designated M27 IAR. However MARSOC still uses the M4. The Army held a trial called NGSW in 2017 to replace it. And did so with the SIG MCX Spear in 6.8mm Common. The rifle was originally designated XM5 but this was shortly changed to XM7. Those are both stories for another time.

M193 Vs. M855 What Ammo is Right
| 1993, the problems begin. The battle of Mogadishu which would later be adapted into the movie Black Hawk Down was a deep learning experience for all levels of the military. One lesson learned was that M855 totally sucks ass. The Rangers at the battle armed with full length M16s reported mixed results. Delta on the other hand was using 14.5 inch carbines, which predated the later 14.5 inch M4. They reported having to shoot unarmored targets several times in order to dispatch them with the M855 cartridge. These reports were echoed later in Iraq when the M4 carbine was prevalent. This led to the development of the M855A1 cartridge in 2010, which we will discuss in detail some other time. Were these results the same as what was seen in Vietnam? The M16 was notorious for its many problems, was terminal effect one of them? M193 when traveling over 2500fps will turn sideways in the target and fragment into several pieces, when traveling near muzzle velocity it will shatter into over a dozen pieces. This produces a wound cavity more in line with rifle cartridges like 7.62x51mm. Advisors early in the Vietnam war reported that there were several VC killed with the M16 that would have otherwise lived if hit with any other rifle. M193 will rip open a massive temporary wound cavity if traveling above the proper threshold. At extended ranges, most often 200 yards, this no longer occurs, and shot placement once again determines whether or not a hit is effective. | The 62gr ammunition does not have this effect at any velocity. And at ranges beyond 150 yards it isn't doing much more than poking holes in people. Another caveat of its performance is that the steel core which the round is formed around may not be perfectly centered in the projectile. This has a deleterious effect on accuracy. The 4 MOA reputation that the M16 has is mostly down to that M855 cartridge. It is one of the least if not the least accurate 5.56 load even when used with the proper twist rate. Some people state that the steel core is meant to pierce armor. This is not true. The military has never referred to it as an armor piercing cartridge, the steel core isn't even hardened. It is always referred to as a mild steel core. It does better against some materials but it is in no way armor piercing. The long story short is that NATO adopted a machine gun round and everyone started cramming it in their assault rifles. In the civilian context M855 is also more expensive. So, expensive, inaccurate, and ineffective. M193 is not the best round for the platform, but it is effective, and cheap, and reasonably accurate. For both long and short range a 77gr projectile is generally preferred. It has greater accuracy than 55gr and greater terminal effect at low velocities, such as at long range or from very short barrels. But these rounds are generally very expensive or hard to find. M193 is neither of these things, and from reasonable barrel lengths at reasonable ranges it is highly effective and accurate enough. | |||||
In 1981 NATO held a trial to see what its new standard intermediate cartridge would be. The British put forward 4.85x49mm. The Germans 4.7x33mm caseless round. The Americans the M193 55gr .223 Remington load. And the Belgians their SS 109 steel cored 5.56x45mm round. The latter did use the same internal and external cartridge dimensions as the American offering, loaded to the same pressure. They were effectively the same round just loaded with a different projectile. These were the strongest contenders to the NATO requirements. Ultimately the SS109 won out, mostly because of its effectiveness in machine guns, punching through barriers such as trees and wooden structures. This adoption required the U.S. Military to re-engineer the M16 rifle to accept the new 62gr M855 ball round and its M856 64gr tracer equivalent. This necessitated the change to a 1/7 rifling twist to stabilize the cartridge, as the prior M16 variants utilized a 1/12 twist. The new M855 round offered superior performance against targets in cover or through thick brush. It also did considerably more damage to light vehicles such as trucks or helicopters. The cartridge was differentiated by having the tips painted green at the factory.

Basic Chest Rig Setup Putting Ammo On Your Body
A chest rig is one of the most popular ways of carrying ammunition, at least in the civilian world. The idea has more or less been the same since the 1950s. The advantage of the chest rig is that it leaves your belt line (both belt lines) clear of any bulk, most of the time. This allows them to combine with standard pants belts that you load with gear, or larger ALICE style belts, or a rucksack support belt. They occupy a space that basically no other piece of gear does, which is why historically they have been used as an addon in addition to standard webbing belts, like in Vietnam where SOG used captured Chinese AK rigs to carry 6 additional AR mags with the rest of their belt riding gear. The chest rig is best used as a piece of gear when primarily supporting a rifle. Either in addition to a belt where you have a pistol and pistol related gear or medical equipment or water or whatever, or instead of a similar belt when the pistol is not necessary. If you have to shed your belt to wear a real rucksack then you still have all of your rifle related equipment within immediate reach. The chest rig should carry at least 4 rifle magazines bare minimum. If you are looking to carry less than that then those are better carried elsewhere, like in the pockets of your $300 tactical pants. 4 is also a real baseline. I like to see at least 6 or preferably 8. Your size of torso real estate and other carried gear may dictate this. Double stacking the magazines is a fast way to increase their capacity. A single stack 4 mag rig with reddit pouches up front to carry sparklers or glow sticks or whatever could easily instead use flap topped double mag pouches with 8 magazines. But what else should it carry? Glad you asked. Generally I consider the chest rig to also be home to your radio and other related comms equipment like ATAK and your radio PTT. | Other equipment may include your rangefinder, a notepad, spare batteries, pen flare, or a larger cache of medical equipment than what you may be carrying on a belt. I generally avoid pistol related equipment such as the pistol, or pistol magazines. You could also consider carrying your tools like a leatherman or flashlight in the rig, but only if thats what you have on you most often. If you are wearing the belt more often then I would keep them in there instead. Doubling up is kind of retarded I would avoid doing that if possible. A chest rig as part of a plate carrier may carry differing items. But this is purely a discussion of it as a standalone or relatively standalone component. The bread and butter chest rig setup to me is 6 rifle magazines, your radio, its PTT, and a fat medical kit. Optionally a leatherman and flashlight if this is your primary piece of gear. Most also feature a map pocket in the rear but this isn't the 1930s any more, we have tricknology. Reddit rigs that only carry 3 mags and your iPhone have no place in polite society. If you are a hefty gentlemen with a chest size that exceeds 40, then by all means stack 8 mags (or more!) on there. But I am not, so I have only so many PALS webbing columns to work with. I would also not recommend carrying water on your chest, as it is pretty awkward and may off balance the rig to one side. If you aren't in it for the rifle its probably just better to pass the rig completely by. But if a rifle is part of the equation then its basically free real estate. Chest rigs can also be affixed with a “dangler” pouch that sits below. Most people use these to carry their medical equipment, however there are some alternate uses, of which I will list none.

The Weekly Soap Box Your Hole Isn’t A Goal

Have you ever noticed that all fat people have a pungent odor that increases in intensity as a result of them rolling closer to you? How could they be so self-unaware of the smell? Do you ever sit down and catch a waft of your nuts? Of course, everyone has! But you also notice that you’ve never smelled anyone else’s nuts, right? That kind of lets you know its bathtime! How do these hambeasts not acknowledge that they reek most of the time? It escapes me as a thinnoid. That is one sense offended, how about another? I do not want to see a fat bitch. But they’re hard to avoid now. Given that I see one, they need to know that it is in fact not okay to dress like a normal person. It looks like you are dangling a trash bag full of cottage cheese over the waist of your two-sizes-too-small ripped jeans. You are not, in fact, a baddie, so stop pretending. Do not visit public pools. We do not want to see your backhole sucking up your two-piece from the Walmart fatass section. We also do not fancy seeing your slab of stomach dangle over your bikini. There are two specific variants of fat people, sometimes rolled up into one individual, who are worse than blacks (ok, that may be an exaggeration… unless they are black). These are as follows : Confident fat people and fat people who reject science and traditional standards of not being fucking repulsive. Often on social media, they will accentuate and flaunt their undesirable shape instead of getting rid of it. Using their excess folds flapping around for a laugh is actually not that funny, but is gross and on a bad day, infuriating. Using your double chin to make a funny face is sad, not humorous.
| The second mentioned type of fatoid is my least favorite. They will say “What you call junk food may be someone else’s cultural food, safe food, preferred food, primarily accessible food, and the list goes on” (real quote). How much cope can a person partake in before they see their own retardation? These people refuse to get on the scale at the doctors and say that it is some violation of their rights or privacy. Get real, man. The doctors will tell them to lose weight instead of testing them for other reasons why their knees always hurt. Maybe if you didn’t weight that of three people, your knees wouldn’t be splintering when you stand up. Try losing weight first, retard. Healthy at any size may be a trite phrase, but it still stands that it is one of the most retarded things one can say but so many of these people take it to heart. The last questionably common idea that all these “people” seem to believe is that its not as simple as not eating as much. There is no physical way for you to eat 1 lb of food and retain 2 lb of weight. It just doesn’t fucking work. I know how stupid it sounds to spell that out but people genuinely think that mass of food in and mass gained are not 1:1. That is why my theory is the fat goes to their brain and replaces their brain over time until they die. | |||||||
